Happy Valentine’s Day!
Whether the holiday makes you swoon or cringe, all of us tell our loved ones that we, well, love them.
But are there more creative ways of saying “I love you”?
Here are eight unique ways to show your sweetheart — or even your client! — your appreciation.
Anyone can say, “I love you.”
Only you can say something like…
Like good copy, love is all about the details.
So instead of letting Hallmark do the heavy lifting for you, here are eight sweeter ways to tell someone you love them this Valentine’s Day (or any day).
Gratitude goes deeper than love. It says, “I notice everything you do, and it matters.”
The business edit: “Thank you for trusting us with your project.”
Fill in that [X] with something specific — the way they hum while cooking, their terrible dad jokes, or how they always remember to water your plants.
The business edit: “We have the coolest clients on the planet. Here’s why…”
Shared memories are love letters to your past together. They say, “Every moment with you becomes a treasure.”
The business edit: “Our favorite part of working with you was [X].”
Actions speak louder than words. Nothing says love quite like their favorite treat, made with your own hands.
The business edit: “This made us think of you. Hope you enjoy!”
A promise shows you’re committed now and in the future. Make it specific, make it meaningful.
The business edit: “We want to see you succeed. Here’s what you can expect from us.”
Perfect love embraces imperfection. Those quirks? They’re what make someone uniquely lovable.
The business edit: “Nobody’s perfect. We don’t expect you to be.”
Sometimes the simplest truth is the most powerful. It says, “You’re not just my love; you’re my chosen family.”
The business edit: “We care about you. How’s your family doing?”
Don’t settle for the status quo. Asking someone to take the next step tells them you want more of them, not less.
The business edit: “Ready to move forward? Here’s how to get started.”
A little appreciation goes a long way – in love and business relationships.
Don’t just sign your name on a store-bought card.
Show and tell your sweetheart (or client) specifically what you love about them.
They’ll feel so much more special if you write them something you couldn’t find at a Hallmark store!
