The brief
Mikaela Kahn isn't your standard wedding singer. With 1,000+ events performed, 150+ five-star reviews on The Knot, and award-winning original songs featured in films and commercials, her talent spoke for itself. Her website copy? Not so much.
Mikaela was ready for an online presence that looks as lovely as her music sounds. She knew well-written words would be an important part of not only elevating her brand image, but also booking more luxury weddings and events.
She'd already hired our design partner, Cember Studio, for a visual rebrand. Now she needed copy worthy of the stage they were setting.
After discussing Mikaela's goals, we agreed a VIP Day, plus an extra page add-on, would be just what she needed to make her messaging match her expertise.

The Build
After reviewing Mikaela's onboarding materials and getting a feel for her brand voice — a sweet blend of artistic and experienced — we hit the ground running.
We began her VIP Day with a clarifying kickoff call. Then, we got to writing. Since she'd added an extra page, we delivered the full, 27-page copy doc the following day.
Mikaela received creative, conversion-focused copy for her home, about, weddings, events, and contact pages — complete with guidance on SEO, design, and more.
