[ See Cember's Design Services ]
Now's the really fun part: showing off your shiny new brand and website! You'll hop on a website training call with Cember to show you the Showit ropes. Then, they'll deliver all your final design files, including some snazzy launch graphics to share on social. You'd better believe we'll be sharing 'em, too.
Once you've selected your service, you'll reserve your project by making two easy deposits: one with Cember and one with us. Then, Cember will send along all your onboarding info, including your brand and website questionnaires, and book your kickoff call for one week prior to your project start date.
Following your kickoff call, Cember will get started on your brand development while we get started on your copy. We'll accomplish your brand messaging and website copy deliverables during one productive VIP Day (or Petite Day, for Brand Essentials projects). Then, we'll hand the baton back to Cember.
With our copy in hand, Cember will move into website design, development, and domain setup. During this time, you'll provide feedback on your brand and website as needed. Our team will be available to collaborate if you or Cember have questions. We're all here to ensure your brand is refined to perfection.
We'll answer the second question first: YES. You really do. While design is what catches your customer's eye, copy is what ultimately gets them to buy. And although it might be the second thing your customer notices, copy actually comes first in the website process. Most designers (including Cember) won't even begin their work without receiving an organized copy document from you first. That's because copy elements like headings, number of sections, and messaging angles all majorly impact the layout, vibe, and overall success of your site. Your website simply won't sell without strategically written words. On the flip side, quality copy falls flat without quality design. You need both if you want to attract and convert your dream clients.
If you're pursuing a rebrand, you're probably considering hiring both a designer and a copywriter. (If not, you should... see above!) However, most designers and copywriters work in silos, leaving you to be the middle (wo)man between them. If they do collaborate, their schedules and work styles may not mesh. With Quotable Copy x Cember, you get a two-studio, one-stop shop for your beautiful new brand. Sarah and Kelsea have worked together on many projects, including their own. (In fact, QC was one of Cember's very first Passion Projects!) Along with sharing a similar aesthetic and approach to marketing strategy, we've got the process down to a science. That means you get a cohesive brand, strategic website, and streamlined timeline — all under one cute, collaborative umbrella.
You totally can! While we adore working on projects together, we know different folks like different (keyboard) strokes. If you'd prefer to work with a different designer or copywriter — or go the DIY route — simply book your service with Cember or Quotable Copy separately. No hard feelings!
We'll tackle your website copy during a pre-reserved VIP Day (or, for Brand Essentials projects, a shorter Petite Day). While it's tough to say exactly how much we can accomplish during this time, we can typically write at least three standard-length web pages during a VIP Day and one longer-length landing page during a Petite Day. Brand Intensive and Passion Project clients can usually expect to receive copy for a simple Home, About, and Services page, plus outlines and/or short snippets of copy for a Resources and Contact page. Think you'll need more time to accomplish your copy needs? Let us know — we can likely add a second VIP or Petite Day for a discounted rate.
Prior to your VIP or Petite Day, we'll review your questionnaires, research your brand, and confirm your priorities for the day. We'll also start to define your brand voice and create your messaging guidelines, which Cember will include in your style guide. On the morning of your VIP Day, you'll hop on a kickoff call with us (or, if schedules allow, we can join your kickoff call with Cember instead). Then, our team will get to work on your website copy. Unless we have questions or you want to jump on a check-in or wrap-up call, you're free to do whatever you'd like during the day. We'll touch base with you around lunchtime, sharing the working doc for your review, and send a video recap at the end of the day. You'll then have 24 hours of complimentary support to ask questions or request minor edits. Not that you'll need them. ;)
Cember typically books projects several months in advance — currently well into 2025. We have reserved time on our own calendar accordingly. Once your project begins, you can expect it to be finished within three to eight weeks, depending on your chosen service and specific brand needs. Learn more about each service's timeline here.
We get that rebranding your business is a significant investment. So yes, we offer flexible payment plans! While most of your forms and other communication will come from Cember, we will invoice you separately for our services. Cember's clients typically opt for a four- or six-month payment plan, while our clients typically make two payments. We each require a deposit to reserve your project.
